India, often hailed as the Land of Diversity, is a tapestry of traditions and cultures. At KATES, we joyfully embrace this diversity by celebrating a multitude of national, regional, and international festivals.
Festival Celebrations:- In our vibrant tapestry of festivities, every occasion holds significance. From Basant Panchami, Baisakhi, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtmi, Eid-ul-Zuha, Eid-Ul-Fitr, Diwali, Gurupurab, Christmas, Republic Day, Independence Day, children's Day, Teacher's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Grandparent's Day, Daughter's Day, Friendship Day, World Earth Day, Planet Week etc., Penguin Awareness Day, Halloween Day, Colour’s Day etc. and events like Christmas Carnival, Winter Carnival, Annual Function – JHANKAAR, etc
Crucially, we extend an open invitation to parents and grandparents to actively participate and cooperate in these celebrations.
Workshops:- Additionally, we organize informative workshops and seminars on positive parenting, hygiene, nutrition, and orientation programs for nursery school admissions. These initiatives empower parents in nurturing their children effectively.
At KATES, we recognize the importance of extending learning beyond the confines of the classroom. That's why educational excursions are an integral component of our curriculum. We whisk our students away to diverse locales, including the Fire Brigade office, Bank & ATM, Post Office, Fruit & Vegetable Market, Mother Dairy, Departmental Stores, Malls, Zoos, Parks, and more. These outings offer real-time, hands-on experiences that allow our students to witness, touch, feel, and immerse themselves in the world around them, fostering profound and practical learning.
Picnics are a wonderful way for children to connect with nature and each other. KATES organizes exciting picnics for students at places that capture their imaginations, such as Dominos, Doll’s Museum, Parks, Rail Museum, Zoo, and more. We meticulously plan these outings, ensuring provisions for refreshments, water, and transportation. Our top priority is the safety and security of our students, and we take every precaution to ensure their well-being during these enjoyable adventures. Our picnic activities feature:
Outdoor Exploration: Nature walks, scavenger hunts, and outdoor games in natural settings. Team Building: Group activities and games that promote teamwork, cooperation, and communication.
At KATES, we actively orchestrate a diverse array of academic, cultural, and sports competitions within our school. These include engaging events like rhyme & recitation competitions, Coloring contests, dance-offs, fancy dress showdowns, and age-appropriate sports tournaments. Beyond these, we ardently prepare and inspire our students to venture into the realm of inter-school and other external competitions, nurturing their talents and igniting their competitive spirit.
At KATES, we instill in our students a deep sense of social responsibility and compassion. We actively inspire and engage them in acts of charity and community service, taking them to special schools for mentally and physically challenged children, orphanages, old age homes, and various other charitable endeavours. These meaningful experiences are typically organized on special occasions, such as International Charity Day, fostering a sense of empathy, kindness, and societal awareness in our students through community service activities:
Charity Drives: Projects that teach children about empathy and giving back to the community.
Environmental Initiatives: Activities focused on environmental awareness, conservation, and sustainable practices.
